Pan Fried Chicken Dumplings

Once you have your filling prepared, it’s time to encase it in dumpling wrappers. You’ll need:

  • 30 individual round dumpling wrappers
  • Water (for sealing the dumplings)
  1. Start by placing a spoonful of the chicken mixture in the center of each dumpling wrapper.
  2. Moisten the edges of the wrapper with water to help seal the dumplings.
  3. Fold the wrapper in half and crimp the edges to create a half-moon shape.
  4. Repeat this process until all the filling and wrappers are used.

Cooking Instructions:

Now that your dumplings are assembled, it’s time to cook them to perfection. Here’s how:

  • 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup of water
  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Arrange the dumplings in the skillet, ensuring they are not touching each other.
  3. Cook the dumplings for 2-3 minutes until the bottoms are golden brown.
  4. Carefully add 1/4 cup of water to the skillet and cover it immediately.
  5. Allow the dumplings to steam for 6-8 minutes, or until most of the water has evaporated.
  6. Remove the cover and continue cooking for another couple of minutes until the bottoms are crispy.
